How do I change the time on my NEC XEN system?
- Can only be done from the main reception phones (normally extensions 10 or 11)
- Press: FEATURE then 9 then #
- Adjust the appropriate time
- Press: FEATURE to confirm the new set time
How do I program my Speed Dial keys on my NEC handset?
- Press: FEATURE then REDIAL and then the speed dial key to be programmed
- Press: 0 then 0 again
- Press: The telephone number to be stored
- Press: FEATURE to complete the new speed dial
How do I turn the microphone on/off on my NEC handset?
- Press: FEATURE 1
- You will notice the red "MIC" light disappear which means the microphone is off. This means you will not be heard when using speaker.
- Press: FEATURE 1 to activate the microphone again
How do I change my Voice Mail greeting?
- Dial into your Voice Mail as Normal
- Wait to hear the set up options
- Follow prompts to change your current greeting
How do I forward calls to my home/mobile using my NEC handset?
- Press: SPEAKER then 43 then 0
- Press: Telephone number to divert to
- Press: SPEAKER to complete the call forward
How do I know if the music on hold is working on my NEC XEN system?
- Press: FEATURE then 26
- You should then hear your music on hold facility. If you hear nothing, please call or email us
How do I control the ringing volume on my NEC handset?
- Press: SPEAKER
- Press: 60 then 1
- Hold:

adjust the ringing volume - Note: Press
or
during conversation to adjust handset / speaker volume
How do I reset all my current settings on my NEC handset?
- Press: FEATURE then 99 then FEATURE
- This will cancel Call Forward All Calls, Do Not Disturb and Callback Request settings
